I don't have time anymore to keep up with this blog. It served it's purpose for me and for some of you but it is over now.
Thank you to those of you who have supported me over the years. I will leave the blog up for a while longer so I can collect some things, but will eventually remove it completely if Blogger has that sort of capability.

I read somewhere that blogger blogs are permanent-don't know it for a fact but thought I would let you know.
The person was wanting to remove a blog as the blogger had died and they were told thay all blogger blogs are permanent and cannot be removed

I have always enjoyed keeping up with your blog and have to admit, I am a little sad to see it end, but I totally get your reasons behind your decision. It was nice to get to know you through your posts. If I ever get a chance to save enough money to come to UAE for a visit, I will definitely look you up.

well, i just stumbled onto this one and i love it so far. i appreciate the honesty and simple, unpretentious way you blogged. i plan on reading back through the previous entries. i hope it served you well, and already i hope this isn't really the END end. mentally, sometimes we need there to be an end to things, so if that's what this is, then, i wish you well. sometimes closing the book, to coin a phrase i'm sure nobody uses, is the only way to open up other important parts of our lives that need attention. either way, good blog. happy trails.
